'71 RADIAL
cpt. Psycho Betty/Black Noise (ascap)

Pulled right in at such a strange time, it was 1971
when armies marched to drums they didn't understand.
And for silly faces, no one ever knew about this one
still hiding over my shoulder, from old blue moods
and how I found me thrown away and free, taken out on me, never had a soul to feed. Maybe I knew then, and even then before I learned to crawl

And though you sing songs in lions eyes, looking for someone to blame. When my heart beat gave out, I found out my name from an old silly paper, silly paper with words bold face in "blue" and black, something I'll never read but I will feel, I will feed.

My legs are tired from running away, running away from you. My legs are tired from running you off, off my mind

I promised you, I'd never leave and always be a part of you. You promised me you'd see it through, 'til my dying day. We vowed to each other we would never fade, never fade away.

Look at him and look at me, can you see difference between. I am black and he is white. Am I wrong? Are you right? Cannot tell this story 'til the end is near, the end is near and I won't fall into your trap again,
not again my friend.
